Catherine has over 13 year’s recruitment experience. Cath started her career in recruitment working for an international specialised finance and accounting recruitment agency, before joining a well-known National High Street company. Her last employer before starting this business was an established local independent agency based in Gloucester.
This 13 years’ experience has given her a great insight into, not only recruitment on all different levels, but also the needs of running a business and how important the right people are. Cath has built some great relationships with clients and candidates alike producing repeat business, loyalty and recommendations. Cath has been instrumental over the years in helping many employers, especially when working together with direct business owners & directors to build productive teams resulting in their businesses growing and becoming very successful.
Cath always believed there was a place in the market for a local recruitment agency that placed emphasis on the value of the clients and candidates, and it was this belief that prompted Cath to form Anderson Recruitment. The company has a great reputation, and Cath believes that a lot of hard work, mixed with fun and establishing great relationships will only bring further success to Anderson Recruitment.
Before setting up Anderson Recruitment with Cath, Karen held Senior Management positions for close to 20 years with her last three full time positions held as Sales & Marketing Director for large PLC companies.
With her great experience and knowledge, Karen has managed the selection, training, development and management of employees, giving her a great insight into these processes from an employers and employees perspective. By bringing this experience to Anderson Recruitment Limited in Gloucester, Karen is in a great position to assist companies with all aspects of their recruitment process.
As an experienced Sales & Marketing Director, Karen will continue to work towards attracting the highest standard of employees and organisations, and retaining them by ensuring the service levels and support delivered by Anderson Recruitment are only of the best standards.
Karen is the rock of ARL the girls rely on her for most things both work and personal!
Emma joined us in August 2014 from a previous career in insurance working as a Claimant Legal Advisor for a very large company in what was a very customer focussed role. Emma’s role as a Claimant Legal Advisor was extremely challenging and required a high level of Customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Emma decided to change her career path because she is very much a people person and wanted to work in a more customer facing environment. Emma is extremely approachable and understanding with a very helpful nature.
Emma joined us as a trainee and has worked her way up to Senior Recruitment Executive. Emma works very closely with Cath in training new members of the team as well as supporting the other staff. Emma is a key fit within the team and a pleasure to work with.
Kelly joined us in July 2017 as a Recruitment Consultant. Prior to working for Anderson Recruitment Kelly worked for a large Corporate Recruitment Agency where she gained experience in Sales & Administration but has moved on for a more sales orientated job.
In previous employment Kelly worked for as Insurance company as a Motor Claims Advisor and has had various other very customer facing roles. In addition to this Kelly spent a while studying Veterinary Nursing at The Royal Veterinary College.
Out of work Kelly is a keen Horsewoman and owns 3 horses of her own, she has competed to local level in show jumping and dressage.
Kelly is also a keen cook and at the age of 15 Kelly entered the Rotary Chef Competition, won the Gloucester heat and came fourth in the regional finals, just one mark off taking part in the nationals!
Rosie is our Admin Supervisor. Initially Rosie joined us as Company Resourcer but has shown such an aptitude towards the administration side of the business we promoted her to supervise the admin function.
Rosie’s initial chosen career path was to become a dancer / fitness instructor and she studied at Ballet School for 5 years. Sadly, due to a back injury this was not to be and so Rosie has had to have a change of direction. Rosie studied sports therapy for a while and is a qualified sports masseur.
Before joining Anderson Recruitment Rosie worked in customer service and promotions and so it is was a natural progression that she joined us to utilise her skills in what is a very customer orientated role.
After finishing her A levels Becky joined us in July 2017 as an Apprentice studying for a Diploma in Business Administration. Whilst still at school Becky had various jobs including working in a hairdressers, a school, a large high street retailer and as a waitress, all of which were very customer focussed roles enabling Becky to develop excellent customer service skills. Becky will be working closely with our Admin Supervisor Rosie, offering support to our clients and candidates along with assisting our Recruitment team.
When not in work Becky enjoys going to the gym, fashion and spending time with her family and dog Oscar.
