• Accounts Assistant – Stroud - ELP701

    My exciting, growing company based in Stroud are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

    This is an excellent opportunity for candidate who is looking for progress their knowledge as an Accounts Assistant and progress through to Financial Controller level within a few years.

    Responsibilities/Duties;

    • Entering/importing of purchase and sales invoices
    • Matching GRNs to purchase invoices
    • Reconciling supplier statements
    • Dealing with supplier queries
    • Preparing BACS payment runs
    • Preparing customer statements
    • Dealing with customer queries
    • Credit control
    • Extracting staff hours from the clocking system
    • Processing the weekly payrolls
    • Maintaining records of staff holidays and other absences
    • Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management information packs
    • Preparing other management reports as requested

     

    Candidate Attributes;

    • Previous experience within accounts is essential
    • An accountancy qualification is desirable however qualified by experience will also be considered
    • Experience with SAGE will be beneficial
    • Good working attitude with the ability to work as part of team as well as on their own

     

    Hours- Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm

     

    Salary- £20,000
