• 1st and 2nd Line Support Technician – Moreton Valence - BA176

    Due to the continued growth of our client based in Moreton Valence, they now have a brand-new fantastic opportunity to join their dynamic IT team as an IT Support Technician on a permanent basis.

    You will be responsible for providing both 1st and 2nd line support for the IT infrastructure and applications used within the company.

    Key Responsibilities;

    - Resolving software, hardware and network issues

    - Logging support requests in the IT Service Desk application

    - Installation and configuration of PC and Server based hardware and software

    - Administration of Active Directory and Office 365

    - Maintain accurate database records for software, hardware inventories

    - Maintaining system and network security in line with the company security policies

    - Provide assistance in the implementation of IT based solutions from third party suppliers

     

    Candidate Attributes;

    - Previous experience of providing 1st line IT support to a national user base

    - A good working knowledge of Windows7/10 and Microsoft Server (2008/12) & Office 2016

    - A good understanding of LAN based networks and TCP/IP protocols

    - Experience of maintaining accurate details in a database system

    - Ability to prioritise and organise workloads

    - Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing

     

    Hours; Shift basis - Early = 07:30 to 16:00 / Late = 10:00 to 18:30

     

    Salary; Up to £25,000 DOE
