• Transport Administrator – Gloucester – ELP562

    My fantastic family owned business based on the outskirts of Hardwicke is currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

     

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for a Transport Administrative position and the ideal person would have experience within a transport company or logistical side to a company.

     

    Responsibilities/Duties;

    -To fully support the Transport team with day to day duties and general administration

    -Dealing with transport issues; both drivers and customers

    -Tachograph collation to ensure full compliance with legislation

    -Data entry

    -Administration of driver’s delivery paperwork

    -Use of excel to produce reports

     

    Candidate Attributes;

    -Previous customer service experience

    -Good team player

    -Strong background in office administration

    -Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

    -Highly organised and be able to work on own initiative

    -Transport knowledge would be desirable but not essential.

     

    Hours- Monday to Friday- 8.30am-5pm

     

    Salary- Up to £25,000 depending on experience
